PSYCHOLOGIST’S CREDENTIALS
Sarvin Sabet Ghadam, C. Psych Associate, is a registered member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario in the areas of Clinical Psychology and provides services to adults. She is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA). Ms. Sabet Ghadam was trained in Clinical Psychology at Azadi psychiatric hospital in Tehran city. She is a good-standing member of the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators and is a certified Medicolegal Expert (CMLE). She has had the opportunity to teach undergraduate students at Azad and Piam Nor Universities in Zanjan city for over 8 years upon her immigration to Canada. Ms. Sabet Ghadam has practiced as a Clinical Psychologist in the police chief’s department of Zanjan city since 2004, and she also has managed the center of behavioral health issues of the Red Cross in Zanjan city. She has experience in psychological assessments and interventions with multi-cultural clientele. Presently, Ms. Sabet Ghadam provides psychological assessment and treatment to clients suffering from the sequelae of accident-related traumas. Ms. Sabet Ghadam provides services in Farsi, Turkish, and English.

A therapy session is a safe and non judgmental space where you don’t have to worry about hurting anyone else’s feelings where you can be totally honest. It also means you have the potential to solve problems faster and with greater success. In the long run, that is better for you and everyone else involve in your life.

In Canada, the professionals who most commonly treat people with mental health problems are psychologists and psychiatrists. A psychologist holds a masters and/or doctoral degree in psychology that involves 7-10 years of university study of how people think, feel and behave. Although psychologists are licensed that requires to declare their areas of competency to the regulatory body and required to practice within the bounds of their competence. In addition they are required to successfully complete three competency exams and their supervised training based on the college of The Psychologists of Ontario.
Psychologist is trained to assess and diagnose various mental disorders as well to help people to overcome or manage these problems by variety of treatments modalities. However psychiatrists are medical doctors who get specialized in mental health disorders. they often use medication to help their patients manage their problems.

We require 24 hours notice for cancellation/rescheduling of appointments, otherwise, the full session fee will be charged.
